I work full time for the head office of a major cosmetics brand as a researcher, writer and a trainee perfumer. I am also writing a book about the industry and studying on the IFEAT Diploma in Aroma Trade Studies (perfumery) course and for an OU qualification in Contemporary Science. I hope to follow these with a diploma in Cosmetic Science. My previous qualifications include a HND in Theatre Studies (Specialist Make-up) from London College of Fashion.

I keep a blog at TypePad, write for BlogCritics and Basenotes, belong to the T Party writing group, illustrate freelance, translate & localise Finnish-English-Finnish, read more than seems possible (all things considering), try to make it to Eastercon every year (with varying success), play WoW on EU Bronze Dragonflight, tweet on Twitter and drive a Smart.
